Anavictoria is a classically trained pianist. She has quite a bit of experience since she's graduated FAU with a musical degree. As a one of our piano instructors in Boca Raton she prides her training on technique, and especially music theory. As this is a big part of playing piano or any instrument for that matter. Anavictoria is a pianist with a musical background, that is heavily revolved around classical training. She has been trained by world renowned Julliard professors Gregory Morrabito and Anthony Sona. She has taken part in multiple master classes at Florida Atlantic University. During her early school years, she began writing and performing her own music throughout South Florida. She is currently recording her debut album with five time Grammy Award winning producer, Andres Castro. She has found in her instrument, a passion for teaching. "Music Education is a fundamental part of a person's life, from childhood, all the way through to adult." "The best part about teaching is watching each student develop confidence and skill in their playing."

Apparently our new man on the team is renowned for something, but for what? Other than mastering guitar instruction, he has managed to find a way to be a drum instructor, AND a piano instructor. Now that is natural born talent right there! So far with his stay here at Extreme Guitars we've come to a realization. Matt is the man! All of his students so far are super excited and super happy to have this guy as an instructor, and we're proud to have him here doing lessons in Boca Raton
Here is a little bit more about Matt! A.K.A. TIGER!

Matt Stacy was born in 1981 and has been playing guitar since the age of 12. He holds a music degree from Florida Atlantic University where he studied under the direction of Masakuni Okubo. He has played in various rock, punk and jazz bands around Florida most recently being Off the Wagon. At FAU, his major emphasis was commercial music where he studied under the direction of Michael Zager, Stuart Glazer and Alejandro Sanchez. As a composer, he has written and recorded many commercials for FAU, one of which was played in Muvico Theaters.

Belated blog post, but we would love to welcome Reuben as one of our fine Boca Raton guitar teachers, in our West Boca Raton store.

Reuben specializes in a wide range of music including reggae, jazz and blues. Rhythmically Soulful and Peaceful defines Reuben.
Paul “Reuben” Drummond hails from a small rural town in Westmoreland, Jamaica called Strathbogie. At age twelve (12) he discovered his gift and affinity for music when he made a guitar from fishing line and a sardine tin before he even knew what a guitar was. Influenced by Bob Marley, Jimmy Hendricks, B.B. King, John Scofield just to name a few; coupled with his over  twenty-five years of living abroad and being exposed to different cultures and sounds, Reuben’s music can only be categorized as eclectic. It fuses Reggae, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz and Rock together and when coupled with his melodious voice, it creates a “treat of sound” for listeners.
Currently Reuben is recording material for his debut album “Mind Over Matter” which is set to be released in June 2010. The album promises to be creative, uplifting and spiritual, as Reuben believes that consciousness should be expressed and shared through his music. He is also convinced that reaching humanity through word, sound and power is a gift which has been bestowed upon him by the Creator and he takes his responsibility seriously.
Reuben has graced many a stages from indoor clubs in Manhattan that seat 100 people to Woodstock Reggae Sunsplash that’s hosts over 5,000 music lovers. Reuben is ready and eager to grace any stage that welcomes him and even some that won’t. He believes in his message and will remain true to it and at the same time wants to educate while entertaining the masses.

Belated blog post, but we would love to welcome Don as one of our fine guitar teachers, in our Boca Raton store.

Don has been playing guitar for over 12 years and has been performing live since the age of 14. He has studied with graduates from Berklee College of Music, the University of Miami, and Florida Atlantic University. In 2008 he earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance with a minor in Music Business from FAU. Don has experience teaching a variety of students from age six to sixty. He enjoys listening to a diverse selection of music, and plays different styles with a focus on jazz, blues, rock, funk, and fusion. His influences include Mike Stern, Van Halen, John Coltrane, Jamiroquai, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Guthrie Govan, John Scofield, AC/DC, Tool, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots. Don has performed with many South Florida musicians, including Kiki Sanchez, Felix Pastorius, and John Yarling.

Belated blog post, but we would love to welcome Pete as one of our fine guitar teachers, in our Boca Raton store.

Pete has been playing the guitar for over 30 years. Throughout this time, he has acquired more than 15 years of teaching experience and over 20 years of live playing. Throughout his music career, he has represented many lines of amplifiers and guitars, and he has performed live with artists like Warrant and Buddy Guy. Pete is well rounded in all aspects of playing and he is one of our top instructors for beginning to advanced students.
